Before starting coaching with Tara, thinking about my finances and spending filled me with anxiety. But thanks to her values-based coaching, I went from “survival mode” to taking control of my finances and making confident decisions about where my money is going and how it supports my goals.

With her help, I paid off several debts early, and I am on the way to being debt-free in the next couple of years; even after several financial setbacks and unexpected expenses. I always learned something in a session with her, and feel well prepared for future financial decisions thanks to the resources and sessions she provided. I heartily recommend Tara to anyone who wants help taking control of their financial journey!

Working with Tara has been a truly transformative experience for me as a fashion brand founder. She has a unique ability to bring both clarity and calm to your finances and not make them feel overwhelming. Through her guidance, I learned that understanding where you are financially is the first step toward growth, and that awareness alone can shift you from feeling like a bystander to becoming a confident leader over your money.

Tara helped me break down the numbers in a way that felt both approachable and aligned with my goals, giving me a realistic pathway and timeline to move forward with intention. What made her coaching especially powerful was her ability to go beyond the numbers; she created space for me to reconnect with my earliest beliefs around money and gently reshape them. Her approach is thoughtful, supportive, and deeply empowering.

I would wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone, whether you’re building a brand or simply seeking a healthier relationship with your finances. The experience is not only practical but truly life-changing in the most grounded and meaningful way.

From the first hour of working with Tara, I was sure that I was in the 'right room'.  What does that mean?  It means I felt certain that I was going to be heard with patience and precision; that I did not have to show up with a false front; that I could be open, clear, and vulnerable about the realities of financial life and past; and that from that place of safety and security, I could speak honestly about where I wanted to go.

Coaching with Tara has invariably been a lift.  The quality of her manner, engagement, and follow-up is high, and thus, inspires me to match. Over roughly 3 months, this has helped transform my financial life and consciousness from a place of avoidance and messiness, to a place of order, focus, direction, and action. In specific terms, this looks like the transition from well over 10 accounts spread across 2 banks, held together by a slew of out of date and overly complicated spreadsheets, to a centralized set of 3 accounts in one bank, with simple, reliable, repeatable weekly maintenance and oversight. It has also meant shedding thousands of dollars in defunct subscriptions and financial services that no longer served me.

I now know--precisely--where my money is (and where it's been), how much I need, and what steps I need to take to build new and better foundations for my life.

I'm proud to (continue) to shed layers of dysfunctional passivity toward my finances and to (begin to) know what constructive habits, confidence, appropriate responsibility, and momentum look and feel like.

If you have long carried frustration, self-doubt, confusion, exhaustion, and/or low-grade (or intense) despair regarding your financial life, (AND), you want something better and more beautiful for your life, (AND) you're ready to accept meaningful help in getting there, then set down your woes, pick up your phone, and text Tara.

Working with Tara has completely changed the way I approach my finances. Before working with her, I felt overwhelmed and almost a bit avoidant. Tara helped me set up a realistic budget and took into account my lifestyle and helped me find a balance between living my life and saving/paying down debt.

After working with Tara, I have set up a routine of going through my spending every week, which keeps me on budget and no longer avoidant, even makes me excited to see if I was able to put more into savings that week. It even helped me catch that my work messed up one of my paychecks!

I’m incredibly grateful for her guidance and support.

Working with Tara led to some important mindset and financial changes for me. As a result of coaching, I feel safer financially.

One of the things I’m proud of is setting up separate accounts for different goals using my bank’s tools. Now, after each paycheck, any leftover money is automatically allocated into those “envelopes,” which has streamlined saving for goals. I also figured out a long-term plan for my money and learned about different types of savings, retirement accounts, and investment opportunities.

Coaching was especially helpful during a really emotional time. I received my dad’s inheritance during the process, and having guidance made it so much less stressful to figure out what to do with it. I also now have a much better Excel system that builds on what I had before and includes long-term planning. I’ve even made over $500 in interest this year.

What made coaching effective for me was the regular check-ins, the flexibility in what we talked about, and having space to work through my personal “money trauma.” I grew up poor, so I’ve had a mix of scarcity mindset and feeling greedy, and it really helped to talk through that with someone who understands.

I used to feel a lot of guilt around saying no to friends and saving money, and I had a pretty strong “rich people are evil” mindset, which I still kind of do, but now I understand that it’s actually okay to save money to make sure I’m safe. I also feel a lot better spending money on things I need or want because I now have both a short- and long-term plan in place.
I’m really grateful for the support and clarity I’ve gained through this process.
